Ok, we have the winners!!! First, of all I would like to say that they were ALL great ideas. We actually had a great time as a family reading through all of them last night.
Instead of giving away two items, we've decided to do THREE.
*Tinyjinny will get the purse - It's always nice to have new ideas on how to keep the family close.
*Thrashmetall will get the Atlanta jersey - We'd love to see his new team's jersey around. Plus, he made our blog his favorite!
*Chicagogrl1 will get the Chicago jersey - Great idea for the Chicagoland area...has to be with people - not animals. (Just our belief in this economy).
BONUS - We obviously have everyones username who entered - send us your mailing info. through Sopes twitter or our facebook and EVERYONE get a little something!!! It will take a week or two - I'm a busy lady.
**Hydropossum - Your WIFE gets a little something special too. Sounds like my kind of gal!!
One other thing I would like to address. This blog is for entertainment purposes - and of course for me to vent. The majority of you get this - others - take a fucking chill pill!! Remember that you do have the option to read this or do something else with your time.

Just discovered your blog. Brett is one of my favorite hockey players - not just because of what he did on the ice for the Hawks but because of he seems like one of the genuine "good guys". As a dad of a 7 year old boy, its fun to be able to point out those players because the TV seems to point out too many of the other types.
Anyway, after reading your posts, it seems like you two are a great team. Good luck on being a "single parent" for much of the season. I look forward to your posts!

Kelly, it's great reading your blogs! I love your attitude and the fact that you are doing everything you can to keep your spirits up in what is such a tough situation. I don't know how you do it, but you are to be applauded.
As a Thrashers lover, and a member of their fan club, and full season ticket holder, I can tell you that we are thrilled to have Sopes here, while we are also conscious of the difficult position it puts wives and families in sometimes. We were all thrilled to meet him at the Face Off event, he was so nice to us all. I, for one, thank you very much, and I'm sure that every member of our fan club (522 members so far this season) would totally agree with me.
Oh, Im with Kaitlin above, doesn't appear that we can message him to wish good luck at games? I'm Thrasherzgirl on twitter too.

Thanks so much for your candor and willingness to share some insights into the Sopel household and what it's like living the "life" as a pro sports spouse and family! Look forward to more good content throughout the season...and I hope you get a chance to visit Atlanta soon and get a taste of life there...even if only once in awhile.
